LEAD & TEACHING Pastor - Matthew Mcglade

After earning an Honours Degree in Applied Chemistry at Coventry University, Matthew worked as a Science Teacher for a number of years, while also serving in various pastoral roles in churches in Warwickshire and Northern Ireland. He furthered his learning towards a Master’s Degree in Applied Theology, where upon he lectured in Theology in Ireland for a year and served on the pastoral staff of a large church in Northern Ireland. 

From an early age, Matthew has always had a passion for the message of The Bible and mission of the local church. His mission is to be discipled and to make disciples and leaders for Jesus. To be persistent and focused in seeking to leave a legacy of personal change and growth in peoples lives, by educating the human mind, will and emotions. To inform people of timeless and time-tested universal principles, showing how to apply them and thereby help people make better life choices to reach their full potential. 

Matthew is currently, serving as The Lead and Teaching Pastor at Mansfield Pentecostal Church. His dream is to help build at healthy and vibrant church in the heart of Mansfield, which loves God, loves people, and is devoted to learning, serving and reaching, with the gospel of Christ at the heart of all it does.

We believe that the Bible (i.e. the Old and New Testaments excluding the Apocrypha), is the inspired Word of God, the infallible, all sufficient rule for faith and practice.

We believe that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an enduement of the believer with power for service, the initial, evidence of which is the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
